What is Edging / Whipping?

Edging and whipping is when the carpets edges are cut straight then whipped by hand on our in house whipping machine. This gives the carpet a nice finish and border to stop it coming apart.

Can I have my carpet edged / whipped? 

All carpets that are not currently edged and whipped have an option on the product page to add whipping. This is usually charged at a fixed cost per meter.

I have my own carpet off cuts already, can I have them edged / whipped? 

Yes, We offer our edging / whipping service to the public. We offer a local collection service within the Bridgend area, just give us a call on 01656 789006 to arrange your collection, alternatively you will need to bring it to our Porthcawl store or post it to us. Our address is Carpet Care, 6 Well Street, Porthcawl, Bridgend, CF36 3BE. Please note that you will be charged for the return delivery costs.
